I AM WRITING THIS REVIEW IN ALL CAPS BECAUSE OF HOW UPSET I AM... MY HUSBAND PURCHASED A GUCCI BAG FOR ME FOR OUR ANNIVERSARY, THE LADY ONLINE OFFERED ME A 10% DISCOUNT DUE TO THE FACT THE THE COUPON CODE I HAD DID NOT WORK. I PAID FOR THE ORDER A FEW DAYS WENT BUY AND I CALLED IN TO CHECK TO SEE WHEN IT WOULD BE SHIPPED. THE LADY ON THE PHONE TOLD ME THE CANCELLED MY ORDER DUE TO THE 10% DISCOUNT. THIS IS CRAZY TO ME. I PAID WELL OVER $1000. 00 FOR MY BAG. THIS IS TERRIBLE. THANKS A LOT FOR MESSING UP MY ANNIVERSARY. MY SHOW YOU MY STORE IS TRUE MY ORDER NUMBER IS 37722252... SMH
I buy from Neiman Marcus online, because even with a gift card, I am treated like dirt in their stores. The sales folks look down their nose at you if you ask where the sale items are. Enough!
So, I buy online and get regular "flash sale" notices. Recently, I purchased a $285 top on sale for $49. Nearly 12 hours later, I was informed my order was canceled as the top was out-of-stock in my size. This was a 24 hour sale with little time remaining. I had ordered a size large as I am between medium and large. Now, I was told they had none. It took them nearly 12 hours to determine that.
I jumped on my computer as the sale was nearly over. The medium was available, so I took a risk and ordered it. I always try to order what I plan to keep and wear and that works more than 95% of the time. A mere 90 minutes or so later, when the flash sales extra 25% off had expired, Neiman Marcus had the top available once again in large. This was close to midnight and they had more than just one large. Funny thing about these tops however--no extra discount.
So, this seems to suggest that my order was canceled because it had the extra discount. As I was now free to order it at a higher price. This is not the first time Neiman Marcus has done this. Because of the random order cancelation, I was sent a 10% off coupon that can only be used on one full priced item and has an expiration date. Whoopee! I think this smells a bit like bait and switch to me. Customer service, once they finally talked to me, could not explain the cancelation of my original order. Who could?

The worst customer service ever! I spent one hour chatting with two different persons trying to return a gift my husband bought for me and there wasn't any solution but to call and 800 number and explain all over again!
A waste of money ( the gift) and a waste of time!
I order 3 pair of shoes for an event. Unfortunately they did not fit. I created a return for the shoes took them to the fedex drop off that day which was only 10 days from receiving the package. Because the mail service did not handle the package in a timely manner they refuse to return my package. So do not order anything online with this company they do not honor the 30 day return. I will never shop here again.
10 weeks and no promotional giftcard as promised at 8 weeks post-purchase of $2500 handbag. After a very patient hour and 15 minutes on the phone with the customer service department to find out where my promotional giftcard is for $2500 purchase on 3/25, she hung up on me. 5/17 email verified order qualified for giftcard (as did receipt email) yet customer service rep tells me today it was 'just points'.
Now they get to deal with my husband as power of attorney.
Goodbye Neiman Marcus, I'm off to Saks and Bloomingdales.
This the second pair of shoes I've ordered online from Neiman Marcus that have been used. The first time I didn't post a review, chalking it up as a mistake. The second time I am posting reviews since NM seems to have a quality control, customer service issue. Interior is stretched and creased, exterior soles have gravel pockmarks and scuffs--pretty apparent.
If I wanted a pair of $800 USED shoes, I'd shop at a consignment store.
Neiman Marcus needs to train sales associates to inspect returns before returning to stock, especially knowing that some people purchase designer items to wear once and return.
Neiman Marcus was a solid company where you could buy with trust. Now their website is offering products that are totally different than what you get. The picture and the description show a product and they ship something different. It's true, you can return it and get a refund. However, who pays for all the time wasted?? You go to their stores, if you can find one near your location (they closed NM Hudson Yards) so I have to go to NM Shorthills where you find 50% of the products they used to have in-store so you go shopping online and there is where they get you!! They have these tricky pictures with embellished descriptions of the items so you buy a $$$ product and you get something else. If you call "customer care" that should be re-name "company care" and they try to catch you with a discount but if you want what they actually bought, they offer you a refund and they try to get rid of you as soon as possible. I called twice: I talked with Ted, Eliana and Cesar. Don't trust them any more!!!
They keep hanging up on me, so rude. Cant figure out how to send me a new card. Apparently there system is down every time I call. Literally the WORST. Ugh

I will never shop here again!! They sent me Tory Burch shoes that was clearly damaged and defective when they sent them to me! They had a red arrow pointing to the damage when I opened the box. Also, the customer service is terrible. I spoke with a supervisor-Morgan that was rude and had the worst customer service ever! And she hung up on me. Never again. A week later and I'm still waiting on them to refund my money.
My 1000 dollar order was not delivered to me. On my original email it says a signature would be required which I was glad to hear. However when FedEx “dropped it off” it said indirect signature required on the delivery notification. I filed a claim with NM and they declined it in less than 24 hours. When all the information is clearly there. They said I could not open another claim but that it is being escalated to higher management and I have to wait another 5-7 business. Mind you I paid express shipping for this item. Now I’m out 1000 dollars and my item. I expected more from a high end retailer.

I ordered a pair of Christian Louboutin heels ( I typically order directly from them but they did not have my size in stock). Found my size on Neiman Marcus, paid full price, and when they were delivered, I found fake shoes and a fake box inside. Needless to say I was infuriated and also glad I knew enough to know they were fakes.
I mail-returned my $14XX order in Feb and have been so patient that waiting for two months for my refund because they said they haven't received my returned package. But today they said they got an empty box so they are not willing to refund. The package was stuck in the middle for two months and they think it's normal, and no question for that. Yeah it took them two whole months to find an empty box, which is a US to US package and they think its okay, nothing happened during these two whole months. So I made a call immediately and got to the supervisor who named Ted. He just kept saying that the weight is 0.8lbs when I sent it, which is too light for the item so no refund. For my order, I returned two 3.3oz perfumes and a pair of earrings. If you do the math, 3.3oz actually equals 0.2lb. A pair of earrings should weigh no more than 0.1lb. Just do the simple math and you will find out 0.8lb is nothing wrong for that because the shipping box adds the weight. Well, but the supervisor Ted just keeps saying no for no reason. I asked him could just listen to me and do the math so he would find out, but still, he said no. He does not even try to listen to his customer. Also, he was looking at the wrong order in the first place. Jesus, these guys just don't know what they are doing. I will just stay away from this company for life. There are better options in the US.
I was highly impressed by Inna Sirkis professionalism, as a sale assistant, she provided when I was shopping in Neiman Marcus @ Northbrook location!
Inna offered the best advice! She made my shopping EASY and absolutely FUN!!!

The y claim to expedite shipping then dont. They steal l and can't be trusted

Customer Service at NM is lousy. They lie about delivery times even when you pay to upgrade it.
